Our association has two types of membership: Full and Honorary members.

 

 

Full Membership Conditions

  • Having civil rights and being over 18 years of age.
  • Being a Turkish citizen or having the right to reside in Turkey within the framework of the law.
  • Graduating from a bachelor's, master's, Ph.D. program in educational measurement and evaluation at a domestic or foreign university whose equivalence is accepted by the Turkish Council of Higher Education (YÖK) or having a master's or doctoral degree in psychometrics from psychology departments; To be a graduate student in the field of Measurement and Evaluation in Education or Psychometrics or to have an associate professorship in the field of Measurement and Evaluation in Education.
  • Agreeing to pay the initial membership fee and annual dues determined by the Board of Directors of the Association.

Honorary Membership Conditions

  • Scientists who have served the purposes of the association to a great extent or who have made significant contributions to the field of measurement and evaluation in education and psychology with their scientific studies.
  • Psychology undergraduate students.
  • People from different professions who are interested in the field of measurement and evaluation and interdisciplinary studies in education and psychology, and who state that they want to work in this field.
  • People who have postgraduate education in a field other than measurement and evaluation in education and psychology and who can contribute to the objectives of the association with their interdisciplinary studies.

Those who want to become a full or honorary member of the association are to apply by signing the application form along with the documents below.

 

Documents Required for Membership

  • Başvuru formu,
  • Two photos,
  • A copy of an identity card,
  • A photocopy of one of the graduation, student or associate professor title documents,
  • Proof of payment for the Initial Membership Fee,
  • For non-TC citizens, a document showing residence permit in Turkey.

The Headquarters Board of Directors notifies the candidate in writing of its decision within 30 days following the receipt of the documents.
